I wont be getting involved tonight salmon. I can afford to put X amount of money on a horse but cannot afford to see it disqualified for nothing imo. As you rightly said they should have the same rules worldwide more or less but could you imagine US rules over here?
The jockey club would be inundated with dozens of objections every week. Take last year's St Leger for example. or was it the year before? Anyways the winner got chucked out only to be reinstated afterwards. No use to the punters on the day I may add.

Just to enlighten you, I'm not married and when I was in dire straights with my mortgage approx.: 30 years ago the interest rates were hitting the 10% mark. I was working offshore and earning reasonably good money but having to pay over half my wages on mortgage payments it was a struggle until the government saw sense and we came out of the ERM.
Anything I make on Betfair is a bonus as I don't need the money. I don't receive benefits or do drugs or anything illegal. I just happened to invest wisely when I was younger. Sometimes having your back to the wall is a good thing....when you eventually pull

I like to think I bring a bit of humour to the forum. I like to read peoples thoughts who know far more about the game than me.
