Had it handed to him on a plate yesterday. Bit harder today and he blew it. Forget the interference he rode a stayer for speed. Should have sat in the first three.
Unlucky in running, but would she have won with a clear run ? I have my doubts and I backed her, the winner (by 2L) has improved over the winter and looked smart to me.

Best horse on the day won there. However it's true that Moore quite often finds trouble in the big races being over confident just like Minding in the Oaks last year.

Certainly can't have that he was too far back. Obviously the interference cost him a fair bit of ground without which it would have been close. Not sure that was his fault. Easily the best jockey around but doesn't mean every ride goes perfectly.

Beggy will get a bollocking. His mount edged left under his whip and helped to close the gap that Moore was looking to go through. Doubt it would have made the difference. Winner was best horse, imo. Obviously improving quickly.

he is nearly always on the best horse in all the top class races.
He is a decent jockey, but then 99% of jockeys would win these group 1s that Ryan wins on the best horses in the world.

Shame the 1st and 2nd in the 1000G will not take on each other again in the Irish equivalent given proximity of races; the 2nd is looking more Oaks bound, 5/2 at the present moment.

Not one for names but I think I vaguely remember L Browne. I remember the horses better because of financial interest eg Glen Na Small, Grey Desire, Snow Bounder, Diminuendo and off course, Ma Biche and Zafonic.
How long for and what made you give up?

Never been up on a horse (held onto one whilst he was being harnessed and saddled - two wheel cart) but loads of motorbikes though. It could not have been easy on a one tonne animal with a mind of its one at times, but no doubt fun too, I'd imagine.
Why laughing? Freddy Head, were they not?

Looked to me like Ryan asked her to go but she didn't pick up and then the gap closed but even when in the clear it still took ages to get going.

Side note...Aidan watching the race afterwards on ITV...wearing those dark glasses when Ed says to him - we're looking for the dark colours Aidan.
Loooool

She had to be switched when her stablemate dropped back; maybe it was her 1st run of the season. I'm hoping for a renewal between the two in the future but doubt it very much. Another Minding and Ballydoyle scenario, I guess, but hope to be proven wrong.

Anyone who watches plenty of racing knows that Moore is the most overrated jockey in the history of horse racing - his race positional sense is nothing short of atrocious and one has lost count of the number of races he has forfeited through this flaw - he has lost far more races that he should have won , than won races that he has no right to win - he is in short a liability and you have to take that into account when betting his mounts.
Any of 20 jockeys currently riding would win the races Moore is presented with by Coolmore - he contributes nothing in my view , but simply over complicates what should be plenty of 'Point & Shoots' - how he had a 2yo Mile winner 7 lengths off the pace in a quick ground mile with emphasis on speed is mind boggling - and then not switching at least 10 strides before he did is just incompetence - the 2nd was clearly the best horse in the race.
How Coolmore consider him superior to the brilliant 'Keep It Simple' SDS is a mystery of Lord Lucan/Shergar proportions to these eyes ; some of the Irish jocks must wonder what the hell is going on.
Emperors New Clothes Moore.

I doubt any trainer gives R Moore riding instructions,no need. He knows most of the horse he rides, and trainers know he is the best in the business and that's why he is employed by the best trainers in the world.

Not content with mopping up our classics, they want to put the punters away and have it right off as well.
A kind of triple whammy get it right up you if you will. Lovely stoff.
