Ruby purposely got the starter to make them turn again knowing this would hinder Labaik, a brilliant tactic. But to get in the duel with the Tizzard horse leaving his horse legless was brutal.

ruby put in the homework, brilliant but wouldnt get in the way of jack kennedy and the irish pikey trainer on the way back to enclosure!

Trouble is, if he lets Pingshou go on, then that horse gets a massive advantage. I would bet Melon or Pingshou over the winner in a match race. The race pretty much fell into the winners lap.

Walsh didn't mind softening up pingshou, main priority was a "mullins" winner. Once Labaik was out of the way, they only had to finish off Pingshou and it was a sure fire mullins win

If you're Mullins you will be beaming at the gamesmanship from Ruby. A €109k swing in the trainers championship from that race if Labaik had gone off and won. I imagine Ruby will be keeping out of Elliott's road for a while and rightly so.

Elliot's efforts would be best employed doing something at home to sort the dodge pot out rather than getting pi55ed off at the competition not serving the race up on a silver platter.

I'd say he'll be more worried about bumping into one of the horse's owners, not to be trifled with.
