Aren't naps tables basically shortlists of favorites to lay?

What does your spreadsheet data tell you about laying the favourites?

That they're the best horses to lay. But I never tried blindly laying naps yet.

I've got data from 2014, leave out the odds on favs is my advice and you might get figures like this in the future... laying to win aprox 100 @ 4% comm

Yeah but it can't be that easy can it? If everyone knows that blindly laying all naps is profitable, their odds should rise to the point of no value.

I still don't get how the tipsters can be so bad. They have to pick only the single best horse of the day and yet they still can't make any profit. I can back 15 horses a day and make a profit.

I presume they're all calculated at SP? Selecting a horse when you have no idea what price it will be is a difficult ask.
