Seriously thinking that the only guys I've ever heard about winning large sums backing horses- JP Mc / Barney Curley / Harry Findlay (he's done a Lord Lucan , anyone know why)
were all owners etc - & that unless you do own ,train etc - you are on the outside looking in , trusting a fairly untrustworthy industry , with no chance - I'm thinking horses are to be avoided.

Davy russell last week summed up attitude towards punters for me when last week on national tv at cheltenham told us all how his horse in the handicap hurdle race on thurs had no chance been treated harshly after winning last time of course it won easily says it all to me.
