mine was sea pigeon 1981 i was 17 and backed it at 11-4 ante post i'm sure it won at 7-4. jonjo would have been on it but was injured and francome was on board.

Took a transistor radio into school and listened in with the desk lid up. Didn't realize at that age (10) how deaf I really was, and how high I'd turned the volume up. Once the race was over, I put the lid down and found the whole class looking at me, p1ssing themselves.
