Race 1 - 5:45pm
THE sunbets.co.uk DOWNLOAD THE APP APPRENTICE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) Scott Dixon, the trainer of DR RED EYE, declared a hood in error. Under Schedule (B)4 5.6 the Stewards gave permission for a Visor to be substituted and fined him £140. The Stewards held an enquiry into possible interference approaching two furlongs out. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that the winner, WINK OLIVER, ridden by Laura Coughlan, had interfered with KINGSTREET LADY, unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle. They found the interference was accidental in that Coughlan received pressure from her outside, which caused her to edge left towards the rail, causing KINGSTREET LADY to take a check. The Stewards held an enquiry under Rule (B)11.6 into possible interference just after the two furlong marker. They were unable to interview the fallen riders, Toby Eley, Eoin Walsh and William Cox, owing to their injuries. Having heard evidence from Laura Coughlan, the rider of the winner, WINK OLIVER, David Parkes, the rider of DR RED EYE, unplaced, and George Downing, the rider of VIVRE LA REVE, placed second, and viewed recordings of the race they found that MOBLEY CHAOS, ridden by William Cox, had clipped heels with DR RED EYE, causing Cox to fall, which in turn brought down SECRET LIGHTNING (FR), ridden by Eoin Walsh, which in turn brought down BINKY BLUE (IRE), ridden by Toby Eley. They found the interference was accidental. They ordered the placings to remain unaltere Best Wishes ![]() |

I backed Kingstreet Lady and was convinced that George Downing on Vivre La Veve caused the interference to Kingstreet Lady.

|
By:
So next race is 20:20?
|
|
By:
no last race apparently 9.20
|
|
By:
So we don't know what time the 18:45 will be at?

Walsh breaks arm, Cox fratures jaw and front teeth (and was knocked unconscious).

By:
Painful. Good luck to them both.
