Was reminded of the Isiris Mark Your Card service after stumbling across their website over Xmas. Used to be pretty damn good, run by a guy called John, with occasional guest appearances by Mr Isisis himself (Kevin Booth) when John takes a rest.  Have followed pretty much every day since Xmas and astonished at how BAD the line has become.  Won't go into stats but anyone following would have lost a fair whack (especially if following to the recommended £100 a point).  In fact you lose most days if you call in.  After getting the roughly £10 message per day (there are some subscription options apparently) and taking a rest after the exhaustion of keeping up with John rattling out the multiple bets each day (common to be backing three horses in the 3-8 races selected each day) and then getting the bets on you end up losing most days - in fact some days you lose all the points you bet.

John from time to time apologies for how crap the service is and how the results have been disappointing, but then losses continue and accumulate.  The most farcical episode was when Kevin stood in for John a couple of weeks ago.  Said quite a bit about how you need to bet big to win big but then lost a packet over the two days.  Get the impression there is no love lost between the two guys with Kevin often criticising John's cautious approach when he has the mike and slagging off performance of the line (although I understand the Isiris main line has been utterly useless also this year).

The Isiris website is very misleading on line performance.  It is not up-to-date and should be ignored.  Self described as "outstanding" but has been anything other than that in recent times (at least).  Hard to believe it was so much better a couple of years back.  Can only assume that John has got lazy and doesn't put the effort in any more or there has been some other significant factor that has changed.

Definitely one to AVOID at all costs.

do you ever wonder that they lay the horses that they tip to win in the full knowledge it's not going to win Crazy

I don't think so.  There was a time when the MYC tips had a big impact on bookies odds when they were released each day, but now they are mostly ignored by the bookies and often much bigger on the Exchange.

Main line showing loss of £10,700 plus subscription cost of £1,795, and it's only February, see main isir@s thread, shockingly poor now seems to have lost all contacts as now gives out 1st and 2nd favourites in the same race

All 3 bets so far today lost (in fact none of the 6 bets placed even), following everyday this week being a loss.  Honestly the Isiris "stick pin in newspaper" service is better than the main line and the mark your card.

The MYC service has tipped the front three in the betting in the next at Newcastle so maybe worth getting some money on the other three in the field.

Keen to advertise how bad these services are (and they are high profile) so others don't make the mistake of subscribing and blowing large sums of money.

Laid the three for small stakes and also in place market so made a few quid there.

Remaining MYC bet today is WELLINGTON BRIDGE in the last at Fakenham.  Worth a win and place lay?

Subscribers are blowing a fortune on these services, the wheels have completely fallen off isir@s, could surely be the end on the main line there has been 1 winner in weeks a 7/4 each-way which won, there is also a lay service only on a Saturday but would you believe they seem to win, shocking outfitSad
