4.05 Southwell

Looks a match between Start Seven and Fern Owl, George Baker gets a fair amount of stick on here, and some of the time I can see why, but there's no doubt in my mind that he's an incredibly capable jockey when he needs/wants/is told to be and I feel he will have his sights set on victory on Start Seven. The horse has won 3 in a row on the AW and has been impressive in all 3, certainly on the upgrade the trainer Jamie Osbourne is also in flying form, having won with his last 2 runners.
Though Fern Owl was also mighty impressive in his recent victory, I feel the favourite that day didn't give his true running and that has flattered the manor of the horses victory. He didn't really beat anything else of note in that field.
