strange ride for a horse who showed his best form ridden from the front in the JLT.

It does appear that they are messing around with the horse. Not really sure what the objective is. Second string and not busy first time out and then an odd ride today.

Really does seem that the only Mullins ones you can be sure of are the ones put out in front

I find non triers in Graded races particularly distateful.

Typical Walsh ride though wasn't it? Normally they allow him to get away with that sort of ride on the front end. Smashing has basically run away with the jock but Walsh has conceded cheap lengths to the eventually 1-2 without doing anything about it other than pray that they would come back to him.

Don't think he was bothered whether they came back to him or not tbh. Zero intent.

The horse was flat out all the way. Won a poor race at the festival and Sizing John is a good bit better than him. Some morons on this forum.

Always find it interesting when a jockey says that after a race even though he was sat still most of the way. The usual response to that question will be no doubt 'that's the way he rides..he looks as though he has more in hand than he does' etc etc

his albert bartlett run suggested he was just a fair horse no more no less nothing he has done since has changed that view.
