Fellas like me who grew up listening to Dessie will miss him when he's gone. Yes he makes mistakes now he's approaching his golden years, but he's still the only commentator out there who commentates on a race on its merits and not on the betting. Also doesn't try to be a smart ass and doesn't try to predict what will happen. I'd rather listen to Dessie than any of the rest of the self indulgent mob.
