I'm staggered by the call on this race, if you view the photo its very clear that the Teopix has won, its not even close, they have muddled the horse numbers up imo. That cannot possibly stand as the result i would have thought, teh owners must be fuming, this is so amateurish isn't it?

The line is on a shadow. Where is the mirror image?

the horse nose band on the far side is not anywhere near the line..for his head to be in front of taopix then the noseband would need to be nearer the line
there is nothing clear there bar that Teopix has won or its a dead heat at worse |

its not possible to say what the blackness in the image portrays..its just a black blob, no way can you call that

The white line is not in the right place, but i still think result is correct; i.e. is is a narrower margin than displayed.

My view is that it has probably been called correctly but to be sure you would need to see the mirror image.

Photo is as clear as mud. Why oh why can the rest of the world of racing provide crystal clear non-pixilated photo finishes but not British
racing? And where is the mirror image without which it is impossible to be certain which is the winner in many instances? |
