I've just ran RUK expecting them to say the offer excluded current subscribers, but, lo and behold it doesn't. I will be paying £10 / month until November '17.

I would be amazed if they are doing that for existing customaers as it is always for new customers. I may give them a ring later

I am amazed and happy. I have only just paid the monthly subscription so will save about £165.
I was told that I had only been a member since August 2013 but when I said I have been with them since the beginning I was then told they updated there database then.
Anyways, a simple phone call and money saved!

I had to haggle and stamp my feet a bit to get the offer. But got it nonetheless!
i was on 15 a month for the next 6 months and have just paid one installment on the 17th
they have moved me on to 10 a month for a year and said 10 will be taken straight away so i asked how that affects the payment i just made and they said i would be refunded the 15
however he didnt sound convinced of that ? anyone know whats the case here otherwise ive paid 25 for the next month

Another happy customer...no queue for the call...they said I had to sign for another year....thank you very much.
I got told that as I had just paid my monthly subscription 12 days ago that is gone as my new subscription starts from Monday 21st November 2016. I doubt you will be refunded this and whatever happens you are saving a load as my remaining 11 months would be just under 275 and I am paying 110
yes fair enough wizard its a good deal anyway the bloke sounded like he didnt have a clue maybe theyve just got people in off the street to answer the phones

just rang them, mine does not run out until next march, got on at £10 a month till march 2018.

ashleigh - did you pay till March 17 in an annual payment or monthly -
they told me i would lose the remaining credit up to renewal if i took the offer up... i e cancel today

annual payment up front, put a credit on my account, so in march pay £120, had no problem with them doing this.

Yeh, got answered straight away, sounds good but response of "I'll have that added for you" as opposed to "I've sorted it for you and it's done" was slightly iffy, I'll keep an eye out next month

ashleigh - I phoned them again - spoke to different person - sayed it cant be done - so keep an eye out next March - when they take the full amount 
just spoke to them said they could not do offer as I am on contract with them till end December, would not let me pay for next month and take new contract out.

I took up this £10.00 a month offer last year on this black Friday thing, when I rang up about renewing a couple of weeks ago they kept me on the same rate for another year, may be worth remembering when your offer period runs out.
Thanks to the OP for posting this, just got my existing subs reduced to a £10 a month for the year too, best bet I've done today thats for sure :)
I waited 3 hours for the call back and had to ring again and due to me having to go out they said they would call back at 6.30pm. I am currently on the half price deal from last February.
I waited on the phone as the callback said within 48 hours and I guessed the offer would be over by the time they called back. Basically after the message there wasn't a wait anyway and answered within a minute.
if they say it cant be done wait half a hour phone back my friend did this £10 a month now
They have rung to tell me that as I am on an existing offer and contract then they can't offer me anything.
