Hoping some of you can kindly help me settle a bet with a friend please.
We are wondering how many dead heats there have been in UK (and/or Irish) Racing over the last 10 years.
The bet I've had is that there have been more than 35 dead heats per year for the last 10 seasons (flat & NH combined).
Wasn't able to find much info around about the number of dead heats though unfortunately.

haven't got the exact number but there will be have been more than 35 DHs in the last 2 years, let alone 10

he said per year ... I would say 35 is about right its not one a week although last week there were 2

Cant give u an exact answer but do watch every race every day and are pretty sure that u would land your bet.This maybe way out but I would guess there are at least 10 dead heats a year on the English and Irish.

---------------- - and, I very much doubt it.... given the 'Pixel technology' have has manifested itself in more recent years - - along with the (barmy in my opinion) BHA directive that Judges have to try and produce an outright Winner, at ALL COSTS. |
