Absolutely dreadful decision, never had a penny on the race but to penalise the second and particularly criticise the jockey for trying win the race just disgraceful. Standard of stewarding in this country woeful!

147 was about 1.18 - spent about 4 mins, drifting to 1.7, then a sudden jump to 2.1
Suspended
Never re-opened for St. Inquiry. Whole thing was a dragging 15-20 mins

A Stewards Inquiry was about 90-99% certain given the finish and the bumping so I've no idea why they would suspend/pay out so quickly. They have confused big problems for all punters and cost themselves money too!

A lot of the blame lies with the stewards for not declaring FPTP before calling an enquiry. Once you knew it was a DH, it was extremely likely that they'd revise the result. But we weren't told that until long after the enquiry had been called.

Time after time these stewards are not being opened, what happened to the telephone???
It's usually a case of the rep running for his car before the weighed in.

what they really mean is 'we've screwed up and we're blaming connection issues with the OCR to cover our backs'....
doesn't wash with me tbh.
constantly blaming OCR connection issues commander.....it's an utter joke....what they really mean is 'we've screwed up and we're blaming connection issues with the OCR to cover our backs'....doesn't wash with me tbh.
I worked on the courses for 2 years and never had communication failure once.
They've failed to open 3 stewards enquires in 2 months (two of which have been revised), and its always the rep.

they'll call you back and say 'we are very sorry....OCR connection issues....we've passed you feedback on to the bloke who deals with the feedback we get'....
in other words....
we've screwed up....
we don't give a t0$$....
we can do what we want and if you don't like it then clear off coz there is nowhere else to go....
