Similar to Grotesque yesterday. Obviously nothing wrong with either horse when Cooper, on both occasions, has given up but still jumped the last two. Alpha Des Obeaux has actually ran on again down the straight.

Couldn't believe they said it jumped well. It was ponderous to say the least. His last run at Punchestown was also dreadful.

Morris plucked a couple of rabbits out of the hat last season but regularly 90% of his best seasons are rubbish.

I thought Cooper was teaching it at a few of those fences. Then it looked like it had an issue. Then like mentioned above it ran on at the end. Strange one indeed.

I was there yesterday and he got very warm and was on his toes as soon as he entered the paddock, if thats any help.
