Agree with you james- really struggling here. Can't believe it's just me as was so good earlier in year. Do feel they've slowed the pics down as the prices are ridiculous much earlier it seems.

By the middle of August I was finding it pretty grim but put that down to 4 months of evening meetings. There's only so much £ and so much racing. Since then I've had a couple of weeks off and the last 10 days or so have been really good without the evening meetings.
I don't bet at every track either. Obviously it's always a worry if people are still noticing a difference. Mondays and Tuesdays can be horrendous which will affect how I go about next summer. |

it's lack of liquidity and not pics being slowed down..... betfair was told it would end up like this and did nowt about it.... coming home to roost now.... pity it's too late coz once folk go......they go....and don't come back..... betfair knows best tho.... course they do. |

Like everywhere on here, the insanely high commission is the drain where liquidity disappears. Last 6 weeks I'm about £1500 up in-running on RUK. But that's net of about £750 commission, which means the punters from whom I've been winning are down £2250. Betfair can't keep nicking these horrendous sums from the losing punters and expect them to keep depositing.

I got my lifetime (14 yrs) Betfair P/La few months back which showed my Betfair gambling profit at 79k before commission and £31k after and I don't even get a diary!
At least it's only a retirement hobby and I don't pay PC but shows how commission destroys you. |

if you say that likely winners are a very short price about 2 to 3 furlongs out then surely some of these are good lays |
