Has to correct both his words and his views rather a lot for a tv presenter. RUK seem to give him equal status with Lydia for the big meetings. Why ?

Oli is the son of wet lettuce Rupert. Explains a lot.
Nepotism of the highest order; seems an affable young man but a mediocre presenter. Can't see how he'd possibly have achieved the position he has based purely on ability considerations.
He certainly doesn't share equal status with Lydia. I suspect there was some offscreen stamping of feet because over the past few months she has got all the big gigs. Not much sharing these days. At best he might be second in line.
