yes i recall him , dark colours with hoops on sleeves ,also had horses with Richard Guest , looked like you could trust him as far as you could throw him

Had a brief foray into in course bookmaking as well I recall.
That was doomed to fail from the start..... |

Always shuffling his horses between trainers. Must've been a pain to deal with.
Paul Beck factoid - doesn't wash his hands after going to the lavatory! |
|
By:
I remember when he used to post on here...cheshireboy ...or something similar.
He used to come out with some utter sh*te : he was clueless. Reckoned he was going to be Champion owner lol |

Bankrupt ?

Bankruptcy couldn't happen to a nicer chap.
Stan and Atouchbetweenacara were two of his better known horses. He was continually switching them between the likes of Richard Guest, Venetia Williams, Suzy Smith and even Tim Vaughan (presumably in a final act of madness/desperation). Astaroland would be the last horse to run in his colours (won at Bangor as recently as July 2015 when still owned by Beck). |
|
By:
Really surprising he still owned horses last year. but your dead right Astaroland won at Bangor trained by Jennie Candish.

I believe he disappeared up Flintoffs arse
|

PMSL.Worked for the 'Big I Am'. You could write a book about what he got up to with Flintoff. He once decked the then Chairman of Sale Sharks I do recall. It goes without saying the sponsorship deal between Becks company and Sale Sharks ended there and then. This is the sort of person you are dealing with.
