First time I have attended this year was not holding much hope with it clashing with the football 29 books stood it was the worst business for me on a Saturday afternoon ever. There was absolute no atmosphere in the ring and up until last season I never missed a meeting at Chester but will certainly be York for me in a fortnight

Regards why aren't all pitches used
The only winners with gaps in the lines are the £300 out of the number
Pitches that 2 years ago wouldn't have got close to getting on

With the business at Chester being so poor
Why not try to adopt a policy of no add ons
From out of the number ( I have one btw )

NO BOOKS SHOULD BE STOPPED FROM BETTING!

Designated numbers is the only possible chance the on course books have got , it's ludicrous to allow people with no capital investment to have better opportunities than those who have invested. Most sensible books agree that although the opting in and out was a pain it worked and that long term designated numbers is the only chance of survival .......cheaters down fall will result in extra £50 pitches being used at other tracks/clashes making their levels decline as well .....the raccourses only see the numbers going up , but never consider that the reality is the business every where is declining .....if the old system of books to punter being applied midweeks would become more viable ,and the hobby books might just either become full time again or disappear .
Surely racecourses and punters want bookies who are professionals ,rather than once a week commission agents or novices who work elsewhere 5 days a week just to roll up on a Saturday and play at it .

If you've bought a pitch you're entitled to bet!

NO BOOKMAKERS SHOULD BE STOPPED FROM BETTING IN ANY RING AND DESIGNATED NUMBERS WILL RESULT IN THE COMPLETE COLLAPSE OF THE BETTING RINGS,ALSO ITS LUDICROUS TO ALLOW PEOPLE THAT BET IN PICK NUMBER ONE TO PAY THE SAME TO BET AS A BOOKMAKER IN PICK NUMBER FIFTYONE,MOST SENSIBLE BOOKS WOULD AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING IN A HEARTBEAT,ONE BOOKMAKER ONE REP,ONE BOOKMAKER ONE PITCH IN ANY ONE RING,NO PITCH RENTING WHATSOEVER,THOSE RULES WOULD HAVE REMOVED ALMOST HALF THE BOOKMAKERS IN CHESTER TATTS ON SATURDAY MAKING BUSINESS MORE VIABLE FOR THOSE REMAINING.MOST TATTS RINGS NOW ARE SILVER RINGS WITH THE RAILS BEING THE NEW TATTS NEW PRICING STRUCTURES SHOULD BE INTRODUCED AND PITCHES PRICED ACCORDINGLY.WILL ANY OF THIS HAPPEN WILL IT BOLLOCKS THE BOOKMAKERS WHO DREW UP THE DISASTROUS CONTRACTS WHO BET IN THE BEST PICKS MADE SURE OF THAT!

AT EPSOM THIS YEAR ONE BOOKMAKER HAD THE FIRST 5 PICKS IN A RING OF 22 BOOKS,DO YOU THINK THE PUNTERS GOT VALUE,PLUS THREE OUT THE SEVEN RACES HAD YORKSHIRE EWAY TERMS,WHAT AMAZES ME IS HOW THEY ARE ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH IT?
