Anyone betting in that race needs their heads examining.

Horse badly failed to stay last time, held up to get the trip but still didn't settle. Going for a late run was probably the right thing to do.

didnt really settle today in fairness. best horse in race but the priority was to get the horse to learn how to settle

Didn't stay on very soft ground, much different here. Completely overdid it and then thought he had it won with hands and heels when he got clear. V poor.

Even after getting out he thought he had it won. No doubt got a shock when he saw the winner wasn't stopping. Only talking to a mate about Heffernan yesterday. Virtually every young horse he rides for the stable now his hands are further up the horses' neck higher than usual, riding it as if it's ungenuine. Keep an eye on this.

Not when they pull like that and clearly didn't stay last time. Though the ground was slightly firmer today Naas is just as stiff as the Curragh and the horse didn't really get close to staying the 6 at the Curragh.

Are you getting mixed up with Navan? Naas nowhere near as stiff as the Curragh.
