I only did Trundle once, as a young boy (before until Uncle Jack had money and then secured membership). I only remember watching the races virtually head on, which seemed very strange and made it impossible to know who had won.  Great view of the whole event though, but I guess not as good now they go round the bend. Coming up the hill beside/in front of you clearly better.

Take plenty of bow and you won't go wrong.do one of these crowd fund internet things if you're short.
