I've never been to the Tue - do you think its necessary to book early to the Gordon enclosure or is it ok to wait till later (so can check weather) without risk of it getting sold out.
Also does anyone do any offers on entry nowadays? - I know in the old days the mirror used to do them. 48 quid is a little steep but will pay it if I have to.
Johnny im offended, its perfect up there with family grandchildren and picnic.Going again this year....you ought to try it.Weather permitting of course.

I only did Trundle once, as a young boy (before until Uncle Jack had money and then secured membership). I only remember watching the races virtually head on, which seemed very strange and made it impossible to know who had won. Great view of the whole event though, but I guess not as good now they go round the bend. Coming up the hill beside/in front of you clearly better.
