Gives the impression he really thinks he is king of the castle but whatever they might say in reality Godolphin are not going to miss him. Kirby was the jockey story of Royal Ascot so why not 'reward' him with the rides. If he does well just ease Buick out of the picture. |

Haven't seen the incident but only read in brief. Sounds lucky no jockey or animal was badly hurt. Hopefully he will learn from this mistake.

I too am astounded by his response;an explanation is called for.I've always thought of him as one of the more articulate and sensible members of the weighing room.

things can be said in the spur of the moment, cant recollect if he has fallen fowl of them before.he obviously shouldnt have said it and i believe he apologised. 30 days for the incident very harsh imo have seen loads worse
