Better than all the other jockeys who couldn't get a ride at Ascot?

and better than most that could.
Are you watching Godolphin, never mind Ryan Moore

If he was that good he would be riding at Ascot.

sorry clerkmore, there is no logic whatsoever in that statement. SDS is at Newmarket for a full book of rides, with a realistic prospect of more winners. If you don`t think he is "that good", take a careful look at the very astute ride he gave to Jacob Cats.

Well he was due one 10 losers in a row before that

There is logic in my statement. The top jockeys ride at the big meetings. He seems to miss a lot of them.

I hope you,re not saying he isn,t good enough to be at RA Clerk , that would be a big mistake imo ,  also dont think he,s finished with the winners yet at Newmarket either , some very interesting mounts for the rest of the day ,can see at least one more , next one been nibbled  , also 2 unraced and the last 3 all have decent squeaks

if he was at ascot the same individuals would be on here saying if he really wanted to be champion jockey he should have gone to newmarket.

If he was as good as some of you are making out he would have a top job and would be at Ascot and the big meetings. He had a job at Godolphin and they got rid of him.

10 losers in a row. Don't you think that's a very easy feat for a jockey? I wouldn't have thought any jockey has managed not to lose 10 in a row.

I'd rather have my hard earned on him than any other jockey.

clerkenmore, point taken but it proves absolutely nothing. Perhaps you should have said .......he had a job at Godolphin and they got rid of him, following which he became champion jockey and it is quite possible that he will be champion again this season.
If you are not prepared to concede that he gave Jacob Cats a great ride even after reviewing the tape, then perhsaps you might like to consider the trainers who are putting him up today alone and tell us that they are lacking in judgement which, using your logic, they must be.
