ghh, lets look at this on an absolute scale, i can name you plenty of jobs that are hard/dangerous work, getting well paid to go round racetracks watching group races with zero accountability isnt one of them

Simply making the point that the racing media is dominated by media ****s and Timeform bores that Lydia does stand out in that she has journalistic talent and a professional work ethic

thats my point ghh and correctly so, and i'm not sure why they are paid for at all as most subscribers would rather see the horses, live pictures and more money going back into racing (or the subs reduced), one day the tracks might realise this and we will be able to buy the pictures direct from source, but knowing how archaic the sport is that might be a long wait

I used to think it was all about taking a stance against the likes of Emma Spencer but she just hasn't got a clue. Racing presenters and fashion have been uneasy bedfellows for many years. Given there is so much competition it is quite an achievement to stand out from the crowd.
