Traditionally bad bank holiday's racing

Of course the likes of boxing day and new years day have good racing but some of the other bank holidays this year don't appeal so much;

2nd May - Bath, Beverly, Kempton, Warwick, Windsor
30 May - Cartmel, Huntingdon, Leicester, Redcar, Windsor.
29th Aug - Cartmel, Chepstow, Epsom, Newcastle, Ripon

Is this a bad year of it, or is a bank holiday racing simply a standard bad Monday card with the evening meetings pushed forward to the daytime?
