There was another one years ago, APALACHEE, trained by Vincent O'Brien and ridden by Piggott, odds-on for the Gns, was supposedly so fast could catch pigeons at home. Unbeaten in 4 races and was officially rated the best two-year-old in Britain and Ireland. Got well beat and never raced again, finished 3rd to Nonoalco.

I put in a desperate display as well

Connections must be gutted. Ran like a dog and there's only one English 2,000. Problem with this Irish mafia lot they boast how good these horses are and us poor punters get dragged in. I backed him and won't be backing him again ( the horse that is ).
|
|
By:
Be honest how many horses rated top as 2yrs flop first time out at 3yr olds... And comeback ? Not many. Agree with hound dog ^ if connections have any sense retire horse do us all a favour.

By:
I have added AOB to the list of trainers whose horses I'll never back again. I had just £5 on AFB but I still feel a fool.

|
By:
Quite a few on here sound genuinely confused about this result. Are you all new to this game?
|
|
By:
Why make a demented comment like that, are you an idiot.

cd not back his runners in the 1000 with bad money after that
and jack hobbs shocking 2 odds on shots run like deceased goats jack hobbs 2nd only to the mighty golden horn last year in gr1s and was never lifting a leg in a gr2 some clearly stinks here 2 odds on hot pots ran miles below form i did not fancy the 200 fav but what a stinker they 2 ran |
