Apart from this being exactly the kind of dirty EW betting that's calculated to mark you card with the books, look at how much you're giving away on the Win portion of the bet (compared to here) in order to get the better place terms.

I would price up at 10/1 sparrow..but wouldn't want a bigger bet than 200 or 200 each way but depends on the others.

Have contacted the SPRC again with the comment that on these bad e.w. races the punters that want to bet to win,and yes there are some,are getting totally screwed due to the SP being hugely overround.Action is definitely needed.
Previously they sent me a copy of their report,which more or less said that they were satisfied with the way the SP is formed,and collected,and no changes in the system would be made. |

At least most of the online books will show the poor price they need to make for EW (so as not to get screwed on the place) but indicate that a better price is available win-only.

The traditional Each Way bet is outdated and needs to be done away with.

can't speak for the shops but the each way bet is certainly the most popular bet on course for any horse 5/1 or bigger
