Before this thread is shut down, have a look at this, and this is just one of the 4 bookies involved.

There's nothing in the slightest bit wrong with using the word "Asian".

I feel sorry for all those who are saying they are going to contact IBAS and the GC. If only they knew just how incompetent those organisations are and how poorly regulated the industry is.

Feel sorry for them. They will have to wait weeks/months and it will all be in vain.

under the current regime ladcroakes are perfectly within their rights to revoke bog at any time, without telling you.
so you have £50 (unlikely) on a 3/1 shot.  it drifts to 20/1.  As it crosses the line in front ladcroakes revoke your entitlement to bog (don't have to tell you and can do it "at any time").  Pays you out at 3/1.

does that seem ever so slightly weighted in their favour ??

The head of fun88, 12bet uk, 138.com and tlcbet, TGP Europe is Garth Kimber. The thieving scum is not budging.

They are 4 independent bookmakers using same odds providers but they are saying anyone who used all 4 bookie offers at the same time was bonus abusing, which is so far ridiculous its untrue.

The whole industry is a farce and has no integrity.

treble - They are not asian bookies they are all European owned. The real asian books such as SBObet and maxbet are the best in the business.

I should say using the festival bonuses at all 4 bookies at the same time.

They are effectively separate companies so shouldn't know one another's customers and thus any sharing of customer information is a breach of the Data Protection Act surely?

The GC should stop the same operator using different names.  They allowed it on the racecourse for a while but the raccourses themselves put a stop to it.  I remember opening an account only to find it was really BetVictor.  It seems as if the scams that were associated with the bookmakers regulated in the likes of Malta, IOM and Alderney are now being allowed under UK regulation.

Dear Valued Player,

We are writing to you as one of our valued customers in light of some recent press reports following our recent Cheltenham Festival offers in order to clarify the situation.

As a brand we are always aiming to reward and incentivise genuine customers such as yourself, however in order to protect ourselves from abuse we have in place a comprehensive list of terms and conditions so we can prevent abuse from those that we believe are trying to take advantage solely from our promotions. During the festival period we received unprecedented traffic, the majority of which was from genuine customers such as yourself. However we also received a high volume of multiple accounts and bonus abuse, contrary to our terms and conditions. As a result we had to undergo a comprehensive review of all activity over the Cheltenham week, this involved suspending payments during the review, unfortunately this affected some genuine customers and for this we offer our sincere apologies and hope we can rely on your understanding if this did affect you.

The process we took resulted in accounts that were deemed in contradiction of our terms and conditions had their accounts suspended and subsequently closed and all their transactions reversed both for winners and losers.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding on the matter.

If they can prove the multiple accounts bit, then fine.  However, the wording is a sly attempt at shafting punters IMO.  The underlined bit indicates that the bonus abuse issue is distinct from the multiple accounts; if they're saying that taking all 4 books up their offers simultanesouly is bonus abuse, then this is complete bollox and they should be hung, drawn and quartered for it.  If they're saying that people set up dozens of accounts to milk £25 out of them numerous times, then prove it and we'll all move on.

As an aside, anyone who lost cash here over Cheltenham might want to confess to bonus abuse, as it looks like they're refunding losers.  Yeah right.

"Following unprecedented volumes and unusual activities during the Cheltenham racing festival the company has followed our regulator approved procedures and terms and conditions and reviewed activity deemed suspicious." http://www.iomtoday.co.im/news/isle-of-man-news/isle-of-man-online-gaming-boss-talks-of-unusual-activities-during-racing-festival-1-7830189

What does 'unprecedented volumes' have to do with anything? Since when was that an excuse for not honouring bets?

Sounds like they got caught up in the Cheltenham hype, got their arses kicked by the results and can't afford to pay out so have just picked on everybody with more than one account across the linked sites.

The only 'unusual activity' is the fact that so many favourites and short priced horses won and this boss has just exposed the fact his firm haven't got a pot to pee in.

If they are all different 'firms' how can they say they have been bonus abused? If they advertise the same promotion with 4 different firms or however many they have linked up together, surely it will be worded that the promotion is only open to one firm per customer and anyone opening up 4 accounts will be voided from such promotion? It isn't hard is it, it is obvious that if they had cleaned up nobody would be getting voided.

I would rather not bet than use most of the firms out there (plenty of reviews for non payments etc), easy to say bet on the high street but many cannot get a bet taken with most of them.

Exactly magic daps. They are different companies and there was nothing in the T + C's about using all 4 at the same time. Below is 1 post I read on the SBR forum.

Over the Cheltenham festival, the above companies (all part of the same group) ran the following promotions

12bet - 4 x £30 bets = £30 Free Bet
138bet - 7 x £10 bets = £25 Free Bet
Fun88 - 3 x £25 bets = £25 Free Bet

The T&Cs had no mention of using all 3 sites.

Withdrawals since Cheltenham had sat in pending, customer service advised they were busy, and would be resolved asap.

Received today (same email from all 3) -

Dear Customer,
Following checks for bonus abuse and fraudulent activity, our Fraud Department has determined that your account is in breach of our Terms and Conditions, specifically clause 15.2 shown below:
15.2 In the event that we suspect that you or any other Player is abusing or attempting to abuse a bonus or other promotion, or is likely to benefit through such abuse we may block, deny, suspend, withhold or cancel the account of any such Player, including Your Account if we determine that you are involved in such.
Consequently, we have cancelled your winnings and will refund your deposit without any further delay.
Once this is complete your account will be closed.
Kind regards

Deposit balance has not been returned to Skrill, and all 3 accounts have been closed an unable to log in

Owed £700ish. Hundreds of UK customers have had the same. Total balances withheld easily £200k

Will fill out a complaint form later. Are SBR in dialogue with these guys?
