What is the point of the In Play Cash Out

Every time I try to take the Cash Out option in Play it just says cash out failed. That was 6 attempts in the last race.

I just went from 400 GBP cash out PROFIT to an eventual 50 GBP loss.

Bit gutted but my lesson is learned. Cash Out cannot be trusted.

same here. Fortunately on this occasion it worked in my favour having laid Hot Stuff. Went to cash out several times during the race but not taken.

if you are not fishing , you would be much better to use gruss with lay custom columns , or , the level profit column with a slowish refresh rate

Why do people try and use that on horse racing  - prices move far too fast for it to work. Use your brain to calculate or an API.

We have had this thread several times before.

In a nuttshell - 'Cash Out' does NOT/will NOT work on Horse RACING - during a RACE.

Why? - Because the available Prices (Upon which the 'Cash Out' is calculated, and then shown) Change far too QUICKLY on Horse Racing for the offer to then be sustained.

As opposed to prices on other Sports bets  - where prices change by only 'a tick' or two as the games progress.

No further discussion needed.

Thanks for the replies. As stated before lesson learnt.

However surely Betfair should withdraw the facilty on "fast" markets as the technology or circumstance simply cannot cope.

YOU CAN ONLY USE 'CASHOUT' WITH FAST PICS AND WHEN THE HORSE IS LOOKING STILL LIKELY TO WIN!
