wasn't having a go at you duffy at all,it's frustrating to the hilt now,they don't know how or why it happens and I don't see a way out at the moment

it could be to do with service provider but it's happening at betfair HQ so don't see how,also atr got no problems and other bookmaker streams ok..
Ok until that race....hurdle behind at the end.
1st race ok for me (virgin), 2nd saw whole race however listened to WHILL comms, race was finished on WHILL yet had 1f to go live.
Wolves 3.10 is the first one for me to play up today.

Didn't play the Wolver race where some had trouble but been fine all day for me including just there at Plumpton?
utterly ridiculous-you've got to conclude Betfair do not have any real desire to fix it properly. I'm certain they could do it, if they really wanted to.
Last at Plumpton fine after the previous one was dire....never know what you're getting from one race to the next.
Try loading each race using the lv menu rather than clicking onto the live stream above each market....only guessing but just trying to relay everything I use with no problems.
That's what I do Duffy.....Wolves crap there for me.
Do we have consensus that Plumpton was that holy grail, a gremlin free card?
Then it just gets curiouser and curiouser - prior to today I have never had races be ok when others had problems, so what on earth can be the connection?

Was playing up after half way at wolverhampton there. First one of the day. Ended up behind atr

Didn't watch Taunton but the first at Southwell was terrible for me
No problems with the first for me at Taunton. Southwell just kept pausing. Was at least 1f slow by the end, and that included one stop and refresh.

Mine was ok for the 2nd not fluent seemed to stutter but never lost any time. The problem is you can't be investing money when you have no confidence in the product!
Could it be the live video team haven't been bothered lately with the change over coming and Paddy Power merger today.
Maybe new/different people on the job, the last team gave up as not their problem anymore.

Other than the first race, which was unplayable, I've had no problems. Utterly bizarre how haphazard these problems are.

@SIS_LIVE - this company boasts of it's streaming capabilities if anyone wants to hit them up on twitter.
Crazy this....probably putting the mockers on it but I've had no problems so far today.
ATR and SIS don't seem capable of providing reliable streaming. There were a lot less problems under Perform Group.
I've got 2 lines, BT and Talktalk, both fibre. BT unplayable today but swapped to Talktalk and it's running as it should.
Fine here on BT - have had pauses but always speeding up to where it should be.
So that rules out it being a BT problem or an individual's isp
The problem is at Betfair/atr's end. They are not opening enough servers or bandwith to deal with all the traffic hence only some are not having any problems.

ATR website back up but video still not working here.
ATR have advised us they're experiencing video and audio breakups due to a technical issue with their provider.
This has caused an increased latency issue and their engineers are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Exactly. So open up more servers to deal with it, it aint rocket science. They must know roughly how many people will be using the live video
service on a daily basis.

ATR's engineers laurel and hardy are working on the issue and expect to be up and running by 5 
Location issue due to lack of servers open/working
The closest to Betfair's servers probably getting the best deal. The further away you go the worse it becomes, like you get better speed the closer you are to your local exchange.
Where are you in the uk and how is your lv? That might narrow the issue down

The truth of the matter is probably down to the fact that Betfair provide this LV Service across 3 servers. Sometimes they just need to wake up and reboot one of the servers. WHAT IS REALLY CRIMINAL IS THEIR CS DO NOTHING
In this instance,jamesdean,it appears to be a problem with ATR's server not Betfair's.

Oddly I've just seen BT have had a nationwide outage today. So there's one explanation for those on BT, not that I seem to have been effected. Touch wood.
Been a bit stuttery all day but that one at Leicester was the first one that's lost time for me.
They can't be blaming BT.

Last race at Newcastle paused and lost time yet watched via Bet365 on same wifi with no problems
