I am unable to post on the original thread, and I'd like to clarify a couple of things:
The bet was placed in a shop.
There is no mention in the shop rules displayed on the wall, the comprehensive rules folder kept behind the counter ( a very interesting read ), the coupon, or on the TV screens referring to a £200 maximum stake.
It's just yet another appalling example of Betfred trying to avoid paying out a customer on a winning bet, in my opinion.
We'll give them a few days to reverse their decision, and if they don't we'll commence legal action.
They will no doubt settle up in full, as usual, to avoid having to justify their appalling behaviour to a court, in my opinion.

All these wretched Bookmakers are the same. If the industry was regulated even remotely well then they would be less likely to try these stunts. The Gambling Commission and IBAS are just as culpable as Betfred.

i have a current coupon and nowhere does it say £200 max per customer per match
there are stake amounts of 25p 50p £1 £2 £5 £10 £20 £50 £100 £200 they all add up to £478.75
