House "more than one way" you took the words out of my mouth. Surely the horse had no chance being ridden like that. Jockey should be in and get about a month.

that was ridden like that at winning post first time, he could of give it a little breather once he had the horse 2 lengths clear, oh well nothing will be done.

Worse ride I've seen all season, and probably any season.
At first I thought he must have mistaken the distance and thought he was in a sprint, but the 5F sprint is a straight shoot at Southwell and the 6F start is at the other side of the track to the 1m4f start. God knows what he was thinking there, ridiculous ride.

Quite awful and it beggars belief that he would expect punters to trust him after that kind of ride! No doubt the "backside" licking sycophants in the media will thrust a microphone in his face in a matter or weeks or praise him to the rafters for an "amazing" ride on something (that most likely had 2 stone in hand) in a few weeks!

Race 3 - 2:40pm THE coral.co.uk HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 3) The Stewards held an enquiry into the running and riding of YUL FINEGOLD (IRE) ridden by John Egan and trained by Connor Dore which was aggressively ridden from the stalls to lead at a strong gallop throughout before weakening rapidly from approaching the 4 furlong marker to finish ninth of ten, beaten 31 3/4 lengths. They interviewed the rider and the trainer. They also received a report from the Veterinary Officer who confirmed a post-race examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. The rider stated his instructions were to obtain a clear lead from the start, dictate the pace of the race and steady the gallop down the back straight before attempting to quicken approaching the home turn. He added that having turned into the back straight he was finding it difficult to keep YUL FINEGOLD (IRE) balanced in the strong cross-winds, which meant he was unable to give the gelding a breather as intended because he was constantly being blown away from the inside rail. He further stated that mid-race he was unsure whether YUL FINEGOLD (IRE) made a noise and also he was experiencing difficulty steering the gelding as the bit had slipped through its mouth. The trainer confirmed the instructions adding that today’s tactics were designed to take fancied runners out of their comfort zone and had been successfully employed in YUL FINEGOLD (IRE)’s previous races but acknowledged that from the 1 mile marker conditions weren’t ideal for the rider to fully implement the desired tactics on this occasion. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they noted their explanations.

I just watched the race again .
the horse did come off the rail a couple of times, but what I don't understand from his comments above is how you are going to give a horse a breather if you are constantly encouraging it to run fast as egan is never not pushing along
