I posted a thread about these a little while back after I received an email from ATR who were pushing them as a good bookmaker to sign up with. I then looked through Winner's T/C's and wagering requirements for the bonus they were offering. In a word it was a JOKE and as someone posted on the thread at the time, "it encourages irresponsible gambling" I was completely shocked to see that Cheltenham Racecourses had allowed them (Winner) to sponsor races at the course on the day I received the email from ATR. The racecourses, racing channels and the Racing Post won't do anything to protect punters from "bookmakers" like these. You'd think that's what the Bettors Forum was for, to look into such matters, right? Yeah, right! One of the guys on the Bettors Forum (James Prosser of Myracingtips)basically runs an affiliates website that he spams extensively on Twitter. I'm sure he's already taken this matter up with Winner bookmakers on their ridiculous wagering requirements and how it encourages irresponsible gambling?

Just looked through t&c's.....look a right lot of rancid maggots.

2. Upon the completion of the registration process and the verification of the new player's account, you must deposit a minimum amount of £30 to receive a 100% bonus (i.e., £30 bonus amount).
3. You must settle the bets to the value of 8 times your first deposit (which will be capped at £200) and bonus before making a withdrawal.
4. Bets must contain at least one selection at odds of at least Evens (2.00) and no greater than 10/1 (11.00) in order to count towards any turnover requirements.
5. You must complete the turnover requirement within 14 days of receiving your bonus in order to be able to withdraw your bonus and/or winnings generated from your deposit and bonus. If the turnover requirements for this offer have not been met within 14 days of receiving the bonus, winnings and bonuses held in your balance (both bonus and cash balance) will be forfeited. If a withdrawal or fund transfer is requested before you complete the turnover requirements of the deposit and bonus, then any winnings from the bets wagered will be forfeited and the offer will no longer be available to you.
6. At least 50% of your bets towards the turnover requirements must be placed on multiples (bets with more than 1 selection).
7. The maximum bonus that can be claimed is £200 (i.e., if your first deposit is £200 or more then you will qualify for a bonus of £200).
8. The maximum bet that can be staked with your first deposit and bonus is £50 per bet, per event.
9. The maximum amount that can be converted to cash and withdrawn from the total balance (both bonus and cash balance) is £2,000. Any amount that exceeds £2,000 will be forfeited.
10. Cashed out bets will not qualify towards bonus wagering requirements.
11. You can only have one active bonus at any one time. To claim another bonus the current active bonus must be completed or closed first.
12. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other open account offer.
13. Any single bets placed at odds of less than Evens (2.00) will not count towards any turnover requirement. In multiple bets at least one selection must have odds of Evens (2.00) or greater to count towards any turnover requirement. Bets with odds greater than 10/1 (11.00) will not count towards any turnover requirement.

I think that has changed from when we were looking at it a few weeks agoe. Wasn't there a maximum stake of £10, now it seems to be £50 ? So if you deposit £200, you need to bet £3200 in 14 days, £1600 of which must be on multiples and must be selections priced between 2.0 and 11.0.   Why havn't the Gambling Commission closed these conmen down ?
Report IanP January 19, 2016 6:17 PM GMT
Oh, and if you do cop a couple of multiples somewhere a long the line, you lose anything over £2000 after having staked £3200.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would want to jump through all these hoops in order to have a bet. What is the point?

Shocking how odds checker can have them on their site and ususpecting punters then join from their, if you google winner bookmakers reviews some horror story's, guys winning a grand then having the lot taken off them, odds checker and atr should be protecting punters shocking. What if you decline the bonus ?
Report Magic__Daps January 20, 2016 10:19 PM GMT
T&C's have to fair don't they, regardless if you sign up and tick the box? This mob needs to be taken to court with the punter winning the case and then everyone who have basically been robbed by them makes their backdated claims and puts them under. Shocking firm and whoever advertises them should be ashamed - at least we have a media that will warn unsuspecting punters.....
