Was going great until mid Oct then it all went downhill for the next 3 months, ouch

dpm.........nov \oct are the hardest months .........also think april and may are tough

I made a profit last year and every single year since 2001.

Making a profit isn't that hard....making a decent profit is.

I keep detailed records of every bet and had my best year for quite some time although most of profits came from BOG bets with those bookies who'll take them.

I think I speak for the majority in saying no of course not...we don't make a profit, or don't intend to make an 'overall' profit for the year..thats way to sensible...I love the buzz of winning a few bob in one day then making it over a week...casual gambler

But to me gambling is fun...a lot of people spend their money on alchohol, cigarettes, meals out, cinema...me, I prefer staying in and watching all the horse racing and football and spending my money on that...catch 22

Agreed, Godsend. I don't smoke and rarely drink so don't feel too bad if I lose a bet. I lost £20 on Swansea v Watford last night but a couple more goals and I would have won £200. It made a poor game that bit more exciting, and I'd rather do that then watch Avengers 7 or Hunger Games 9 in 3D.
