Last nights gamble on Master Burbidge.

Coming for it again, must be a ringer!

Ran on strongly for 3rd, big step up on previous form.

This horse runs again tmr in the 3.45 Lingfield over nearly 2 miles. Really caught my eye for a horse with no previous form and was heavily backed overnight, went off 13/2 from any price. That was over 12fs and he got caught for toe coming out of the home turn but ran on very strongly near the finish to snatch 3rd. The winner had flown (San Quentin) and has won again since with a 6lb penalty.
This stable had been in great form in December with a 75% strike rate and i think its fair to say that they expected a big run at Kempton. Stablemates who won, placed around this distance with a similar mark include Lions Charge, won off 54,57 and 2nd 62. Zarliman 2nd then won 45 backed off the boards and Mrs Burbidge won 45 and 3rd 49.
Seems to have a very similar profile to the ill fated Mister Burbidge(half brother to Mrs Burbidge) who after an uneventful 1st few runs on the flat then won 5 races on the trot rising from 54 to 88 when stepped up in distance from 12fs to 2 miles!
The owners Dajam Ltd have a remarkable record of 23 winners from 116 runners since 2010 with over £30 LSP, already 7/2 with most firms and i'll be very dissapointed if this Master Burbidge doesn't win.

if tarrakko wasnt in the race id fancy him but i think theres more to come from tarrakon he won easy and trainer likes the horse,at prices i did tarrakkon.

couldnt resist doubling the two today at 23/1 and a small single on master at 3s

outside of that I have had a decent bet on binky blue at evens...should have enough in hand to win this comfortably...famous last words
