Race 6 - 3:00pm THE LADBROKES HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4)
The Stewards considered the apparent improvement in form of the winner, DREAM SPIRIT (IRE), ridden by George Baker and trained by Jamie Osborne, compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 20 November 2015 where the gelding finished last of twelve, beaten by 20 lengths. They noted the trainer’s explanation that the gelding had benefited from being held up on this occasion having previously raced too early. They ordered DREAM SPIRIT (IRE) to be routine tested.
