Remember when they used to start coverage at 11am on BBC and run till tea time with the whole Nation watching. That was in the days of charismatic presenters. Today all we get is a bland bunch of jumped up non-entities on C4 full of their own importance. I wonder how many times Cunningham - if he's on - will say "Last time he/she bolted up." or McGrath will say "It stays longer than the mother-in-law" or "Well I'm not having a bet on this but if I was I'd back the favourite." Fitzgerald will continue to say what "a good arse this one is" and Emma will begin every jockey interview with, "He's tough isn't he?" Luck will fawn to trainers and continue to mix up his object and subject pronouns and the whole shambles will roll on into obscurity.
