Aintree 12:00 - Kamaloka - 9/2 - Whilst form figures appear poor, the filly has been mixing it at a higher level including listeds and a Grade III, across the Channel, and it looks if her French trainer is trying to get some easy black type for her. So, with the stable in form, her experience should get her home. Wouldn't we like to own a dam like hers, a pure flat bred, ran 68 times in France in 6 years of jumping amassing €337K. 12 wins and 23 places.

Her French hurdle handicap mark translates to 142 on the UK scale and if she can run up to that, she'd be too good. The only negative is the drop in trip and the lesser number of hurdles jumped than in France, which reduces the stamina test, but her jumping looks a plus on that film against inexperienced rivals. Certainly surprised she isn't favourite.
