What is your experience on betfair when a race is not suspended on time... the market suspended after the race was finished on Turway Park race 2 this night.
I read the rules on betfair but I wonder if they strictly follow this rule?
I made a back bet before te start but it didn't feel right so I layed my selection before the race had begun. But just imagine this... the race started at 0:45 but the scheduled time was 0:44. Will my lay bet be voided then? Let's hear your experiences how Betfair manages this?
I mean.. will my lay bet be voided if I layed my selection after 0:44 but before the real start of the race.. So let's say I layed at 0:45 and the race began 0:46. Your experiences on betfair?

thanks though. I ask what will happen if a race is scheduled at 00:00.. the actual start of the race is at 0:10. The market suspended after the race had ended (let's say 0:12). Will my bet be voided if I placed the bet before the actual start of the race but after the scheduled time? Let's say I placed the bet at 00:05.

23.40 at Delta Downs last night... wasn't suspended after the race finished. Bets were still being placed after the race finished. Still suspended as I type. (01.00 Sat)

usually you'll be okay in this situation. I've had races in the US Ive been trading right up to them jumping off (where the market didn't suspend) and I think only once had a problem. They are usually not too bad at removing the bets matched after the actual off, regardless of the official post time.
