Is it possible to do this on Betfair? Namely horse racing . I do ok, holding my own so far 2015, tend to back 10/1 and above. But just got me thinking can you make a living either backing or laying horses  on here? Anybody on here who does it?

true everyone wins, but, Mark Davis betfair director(in his day) said 98% are losers. I believe this forum, they know everything, so join the gold rush

if you are doing o.k then just increase your stakes accordingly don't go gung ho  , keep doing what you are doing and you wont only be holding your own, you will have the game by the bollax as well ,like most of us on here !good luck !

Modest income may be the best you can hope for these days - if you had got going 15 years ago you could have done a lot of damage with a serious edge and the right mindset but a combination of charges on here - getting on at the right price elsewhere make it a big challenge. I need a minimum 30k a year to keep the show on the road and if I dont hit a fair bit more than that by april then its the job centre for me. Good luck! Plain

10/1+ horses? You must go through some horrendous losing runs.

You'd need to be in the .5% of shrewdys to be winning on here,it's not impossible but highly unlikely it's uncanny how little value is on here as it's usually all gone with the overnight prices,it's also highly accurate to the point where the value get's massively overbet.Infact if you are in the small % I mentioned you can quite consistently see the original value on books prices you can predict the crazy sp returns...Shocked
