If there were 2 people I wish somebody would take hostage these 2 win by a distance. It would be unthinkable that a ransom would be paid. The captives would need plenty of tape round their chops.

It was a fantastic day for the punter today with all 19 contests beautifully spaced out to have a bet.  The high point of the day was when the lamentable Clonmel was wiped off our screens and we could watch a full programme of British racing without having to suffer Gary O'Brien interrupting every five minutes.  No races delayed and plenty of time to bet, it was truly wonderful.  I suggest the levy would have been happier for it.

Much better horses down to run st Clonmel today so we lost the best meeting if the day. As for Gary O'Brien he's miles ahead of any UK pundit.

^ As usual, you totally miss the point.  When did the last Irish meeting wait for one of ours to complete?

No idea. But to be glad the best meeting is off because it might clash is madness. Fwiw could today's racing possibly have had a worse collection of commentators? I doubt it.

Dessie would have upgraded the standard, that's for sure!

MJK is correct about Gary O'Brien for sure.

The 2 goons on RUK, Rishi interviewing, ffs. Rishi reminds me of that old Two Ronnies sketch of answering questions before they're asked. He asks a jockey a question after the guy has told him already.

Perhaps I am on my own, but I want a full show at Leicester and a summary of the race two minutes before the off, not an Irish replay with O'Brien commenting some ten seconds before the off.  I did miss Vroom Vroom Vroom though, I wanted my full bank on that at 2/11.
