He said: "The Hennessy has always been the aim for Smad Place, everything has gone to plan - touch wood - and we've been very happy with him. He was fifth last year, but we've got a prep into him this time, which is very important, both to make sure he's fit enough and to boost his confidence by getting his head in front. Wayne Hutchinson and I were thrilled with his schooling over six fences on Monday and I'm fairly relaxed ground-wise.
