Oh yes - The "BEAST' is BACK !! :)

Surprised Mullins needs to bother doing any schooling when the Irish jocks just let Walsh do exactly what he wants race after race.
Perhaps in a better race something might actually test his jumping? |

If something wants to go faster and take them on, no problem they will sit behind but if any of the others try taking him on they will stop as if shot with half mile to go!
You will notice that no Mullins horse ever pulls during the race. They go their own pace and if that means making the running or sitting in behind they do it. |

other tha cheltenham march would you ever back a mullins horse at short odds with decent dough

The idea that a horse that takes on a Mullins runner will stop as if shot is pure speculation as it doesn't happen. I would have thought the theory is worth testing out occasionally, particularly if a horse is making a chasing or hurdling debut?
Sitting in behind for Walsh is more often than not no worse than third or fourth glued to the rail. It all appears a little too easy. |

The stupidity of some on here. Nothing could have taken him on today. He is conservatively 20+ pounds better than anything else in the race.

I couldn't back this horse ante post for Cheltenham even though clearly a highly rated animal. Even the jockey and trainer seem concerned if he can stay fit. It's a real shame but that's racing.
