I used to take the odd bet from him over the phone. The usual £100 e/w on a 9/4 shot. Whatever, we all bet our own way. What used to make me chuckle though was the way he'd sound. You know he's about 5'1" and weighs about 8 stone, yet he sounded like Lenny McLean!

You cannot believe this joker. Yesterday, he says he "burgled" 13-2 about some beast. No Birch, you didn't "burgle" it, the price was given to you, because of who employs you. The rest of us took the "real" price of 9-2. He couldn't "burgle" an unlocked house ffs.... |
