How is it that we all see it, but those in power at ATR and Ch4 don't? Can we all be wrong and his prescence actually enhances coverage of
racing? |

"Triers at the front, non triers at the back" is a thing of the past; really Mick??
WAC |

He'll probably tell us that Douvan could be a horse to follow in the 2.10..

Having to watch in silence.
I can't bear to listen to the rubbish he comes out with, and his voice just grinds into me. |
By:
He'd have made a good character in Father Ted
By:
Paris was going to post exactly same including the WAC

"It was as if they heard us with those at the head of the market at the front in the race"

He's an assault on the ears. Hate listening to him.
The only consolation is that Andy Richmond isn't on RUK today. |
By:
He personifies all that is wrong with the (vast majority of) the racing media circus.
Ill prepared, not in the least objective and unwilling to criticise any participant (unless they are foreign and don't ride/train over here/Ireland of course) whilst perfectly willing to gush over every winning ride as "great", every jockey/trainer as "one of the good guys" and generally opine that everything in the garden is rosy. Utterly cringe worthy. |
By:
hes the biggest cretin in the racing media and that takes some doing
By:
Couldn't agree more Paris..
By:
Biggest problem is that he isn't a 'cretin' but someone who is well versed after so many years to churn out lies.
By:
And all these first-time-outers will improve for the run

and he is a cretin, and a moron, and thick, etc etc etc
By:
You know, in my opinion, the impressive winner is the one to take out of the race, for the future
By:
all you need now is for the Uttox commentator to be Thommo!

Nap landed Keefter!

Unfortunately Betfred have him under contract so always likely to turn up at one of their sponsored tracks

So we have
FITZGERALD FITZGERALD - the other one at Haldon OILY BELL THOMPSON What a day! |
By:
Paris - Let's not also forget the valuable contributions from the Bookies reps quoting Cheltenham prices for every horse that crosses a winning line in front..
By:
it could be only made worse if GOB called in sick in Ireland and Weaver and Harvey flew in to cover.
I didnt know what cringe was until friday when he kept calling James Doyle..... D'Doyler |
By:
Up to now in each race covered by ATR Mick has thought that the favourite would take the waaarld of beating..
By:
and worth every penny he's paid-a bit like Rooney
