Does he "bet responsibly" with bet365 even when another firm are offering bigger odds ? He doesn't make it clear.

I read his book last year and he said all of his mates take the piss out of him in those adverts. He says he has the last laugh though when he tells them how much he was paid for doing them.

you will find that as that firm (and all others) restrict you to 3.65 stake they are all in fact promoting responsible gambling. No one can become hooked, gamble away too much etc. etc.

Even Samuel L Jackson has an account with them now, wonder how much they paid him for that.

'bet fwee six five' How I loathe those f*cking ads Cry All the bookies who get to advertise on primetime tv should all be accountable to the ASA for false advertising. They sell the message, there is easy money to be won while they do not tell the public if you manage to turn a profit your account will be restricted to pennies.

They should be forced, under law, to also tell viewers in their wretched ads, they will close accounts if you win. They are currently getting away with murder. All they want is to encourage mugs to lose thousands in their online casinos, while the only people they want to do business with on the high st is mugs who pump money into FOBTs. A scandalous situation that should not be allowed to continue.

Any celeb endorsing a betting chain is beyond contempt.

Couldn't agree more Johnny. People like Winstone would eat $hit for money. I'd ban all bookmaking/online casino/ bingo ads.

Who's the mug? Winstone for taking the money or 356 for even wanting him in the first place?
