Surely must get some award he put himself in harms way to pull up the horse when Power's leg was stuck
in the stirrups as otherwise Power would have been seriously hurt. Well done Cooper take a bow.

He's come in for a bit of stick on here from people who've ridden as many winners as me. Hope they have a rethink now. Sure, it was probably instinctive but he did it at great risk to himself. Bravo!

Shocked Dunno how they do it day in day out.

I would be the fat bloke in the blue jumper keeping well out of the wayLaugh

That could of been very nasty, well done Brian Cooper. Remember quite a few years back an incident(Australia if memory serves, could have been the states) a jockey been caught similarly in the stirrups, horse jumped a couple of fences with him in tow.... I also think amazingly he walked away unscathed. Those guys and girls deserve every bit of their riding fee's, and then some.

It was Australia, I remember this footage being played on the national news
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xj70zAxnB8A

Thought the lad walked away without any injuries, broke his arm and lost a few nashers...very lucky to have got away with that when you watch it.

Good job the fella in the flat cap got hold of the horses head or he'd have gone off again, well done to Mr Cooper for reacting so quickly.
That jockey was very lucky to escape serious injury Robster with the horse continuing to jump!
The ATR thrills and Spills video that follows has some funny commentary from Peter O'Sullivan dubbed onto it.

Cooper should get done on a short 'un. He'd get more attention on here then.
