running up sequences at huntingdon and other flat tracks but run horribly on winter ground in the better races

Nichols Canyon who has just beaten Faugheen is flat-bred. Doesn't look firm at Punchestown to me.

Broughton wins at Chep... who would of thought that..... opposition and ground against proper NH horses different ball game at this time of the year......... but to blame the stiff tracks is just a myth.....
