You seen posts on the betfair forum from time to time about how the forum has fell away, I've only recently joined the forum for some reasoned discussion on horses/ sports in general, but kn@bs who post "haha"  15 seconds after a champion hurdler gets beat are the reason this is falling apart, I mean what is the point on that post?

Didn't expect faugheen to win easy in this race thought its class would show At the business end, but if you bet this horse at 1/5 on 1st run of season do yourself a favour and stop punting, if you fancy the occasional punt go to the bingo with your Mrs..

talking of pointless (post race posts)  so why didnt you lay the 1/5 if price was silly?

OP clearly lacking in all departments. No racing knowledge, no class, no brains and no value to the forum. Zodiac would lose him and that's saying something!!!

Beaten fair and square today - and he did win a soft Champion  - given a soft lead and major players running some way below marks.

Happy with my Peace And Co 12's.

beaten fair and square...so do we think the Mullins camp was 'trying for its life'Why would you sit in behind a strong front runner with quality form and potential still in the locker..If you had win at all costs today..Why would you ride it like that?..The horse won The Neptune as a novice..It does NOT have speed to burn like a ferrari. It has an immensely powerful unrelenting stride and 'kills them off' by stepping this front running style about 2f to go. To me they were just pissing around today to see whether they could ride him different.and if didnt work..its a nice prize for someone else.at a nice price also trained by WM. Check out Rubys interview after.Almost embarrassed (if thats possible)..Like Henderson last week with Bobsworth. They were using this race as a find out mission and it didnt come off  er or did it?  Not withstanding exceptional improvement by his challengers..I would be amazed if anything gets close Faugheen in the C H..Oh if of course they ride it from the front and power on through the race...i would suggest that is just possible and 15/8 will look like gold dust

I now can't get off my mind what a shocker of a ride Walsh gave Nichols Canyon to get him beat in the Neptune, given what he did before and after that race last season! Was one of my bets of the meeting and they decide to employ new tactics and tuck him in rather than letting him stride.

No body has picked up on the possibility that Willie left Faugheen run at 80% fitness in the belief that he had that much to spare on the home gallops and some recent work at a nearby racetrack. Some people must have had serious finger burning, trading at 1.19 at best and 1/6 with bookies. I was lucky as I almost went in but wanted a better price. When Ruby realised he had not given Nicholas Canyon enough respect, he gave Faugheen the full treatment, as though the yard money was down. That was a tough race on Faugheen. And kudoos for a great ride by the winning jockey, who has done his reputation no harm at all. Great to see Sprintre Sacre back near where he belongs. He was ready.Henderson knew.

The question posed is.
Did The Mullins camp employ everything at their disposal to obtain the best possible..I would strongly suggest ..That they did not...and that they were monkeying around with all that played in the race...I thought something was wrong and bailed out at short prices laying Faugheen...(it was last in an acca for me).But you shouldnt have to do that..It is crystal clear that to me..The strange tactical ride absolutely heavily contributed to its ultimate defeat.Especially as its not the most cat like of jumpers (for a Champion Hurdler)...Poor stuff from connections..tho one wonders whether nice bets were landed on NC.
